About OpenOcean

OpenOcean is the world’s first full aggregation protocol for crypto trading that sources liquidity from DeFi and CeFi, and enables cross-chain swaps. Our intelligent routing algorithm finds the best prices from DEXes and CEXes and split the routes to provide traders the best prices with low slippage and fast settlement.

OpenOcean has you know support both DeFi users and CeFi users, which is very good for the crypto community. The Support is not only for novice traders but also for professional traders. The existing interface is user-friendly and completely free for users. For funds and professional traders, OpenOcean provides an API interface and customized trading interface services to assist investment institutions in developing trading strategies such as quantitative arbitrage.

I will be listing out bridges that OpenOcean has aggregated to ensure that users fully enjoy their DeFi rights. This aggregation allows Defi users to fully own their digital assets, move them around, trade frictionless, fast, and with low transaction fees.

What are Bridges?

Bridges enable users to transfer digital assets from a blockchain that holds significant value but few dapps of its own, such as Bitcoin, to one that has a developed DeFi ecosystem, like Ethereum, and a need for additional liquidity.

Aggregated bridges on OpenOcean

  • Binance Bridge
  • Polygon Bridge

Binance Bridge

This was the first centralized exchange integrated into OpenOcean. The Binance Bridge Project is a cross-chain bridging service that aims to increase interoperability between different blockchains. It essentially lets anyone convert selected coins into wrapped tokens (or “pegged tokens”) to be used on Binance Chain and Binance Smart Chain. This provided a lot of benefits to the OpenOcean users ranging from

  1. Finding the lowest price between defi and cefi exchange
  2. One log in is required on OpenOcean
  3. Exchange on CEX and withdrawal to multiple chains
  4. Arbitrage transactions between DEXes and CEXes
    VIP Membership with OOE Token

About Binance
Binance is an online exchange where users can trade cryptocurrencies. It supports the most commonly traded cryptocurrencies. Binance provides a crypto wallet for traders to store their electronic funds.

Polygon Bridge

Polygon runs a bridge — Matic Bridge V2 connecting the two networks and a dedicated wallet to simplify the process of transferring assets between the Ethereum and Polygon blockchains. So far the aggregation is available for Curve, SushiSwap, QuickSwap, Cometh, Dfyn, and PolyZap and OpenOcean has promised that more protocols will be added soon.

Polygon solves pain points associated with Blockchains, like high gas fees and slow speeds, without sacrificing security. This multi-chain system is akin to other ones such as Polkadot, Cosmos, Avalanche, etc, but with at least three major upsides: It can fully benefit from Ethereum’s network effects.

In case you are wondering which polygon was integrated on OpenOcean, a pool was carried. This is was the result looked like.

Polygon won with about 48.7% beating its counterparts. A total of 44,109votes were cast.

About Polygon
Polygon is a protocol and a framework for building and connecting Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks. Aggregating scalable solutions on Ethereum supporting a multi-chain Ethereum ecosystem. It caters to the diverse needs of developers by providing tools to create scalable decentralized applications (dApps) that prioritize performance, user experience (UX), and security.
